Designed by Adolf Loos between 1928 and 1930, Villa Müller uses not only the functionalist style but also Loos’s Raumplantheory. It was commissioned by František Müller, a co-owner of the Kapsa & Müller construction company that built the villa. In June 1995, the villa came under the administration of the Prague City Museum. It was designated as anational cultural monument the same year. In the years 1998–2000, the villa was completely reconstructed and the opening ceremony took place on 24 May 2000.

The permanent exhibition at the Villa Müller features a luxurious familyhome that was part of Prague’s high society during the First Czechoslovak Republic.
