Norbertov Study and Documentation Centre

The primary goal of the Norbertov Study and Documentation Centre is to professionally store and process the archival fonds, collections, and other materials related to the exhibitions in the Müller and Rothmayer villas and make them available to the public. The building’s ground floor has an exhibition area for showsand lectures to present themes and figures related to the two villas.

The primary goal of the Norbertov Study and Documentation Centre is to professionally store and process the archival fonds, collections, and other materials related to the exhibitions in the Müller and Rothmayer villas and make them available to the public. The building’s ground floor has an exhibition area for showsand lectures to present themes and figures related to the two villas. The hall also serves the wider public and professionals for meetings, discussions, lectures, workshops, and other events that facilitate a better understanding of modern architecture and culture.

The centre further includes a repository, an archive with documentation plans forthe two buildings, the research results of Adolf Loos’s oeuvre in the Czech lands, and a professional library focused on architecture. Research workers can study archival materials and expert literature in a research room on the first floor.
